The worst of it is that I’m not forced to work these hours by the company , but rather the current situation my branch is in . If I’m not here seven days a week I’m just ensuring a complete clusterfuck of a day whenever I get back . Whenever it looks like I can afford to take some off time something always happens , like another branch closing down and getting integrated into mine , the point of sale completely crashing ( like last Thursday ) etc. etc . They’re too stingy to allow me to hire more or better qualified staff , and the company’s been closing down non-performing branches left , right and center , so basically I’m working myself to a standstill just so I can still have a job /not be transferred to Kimberly or fucking Nelspruit

I remember being in a similar situation while I was working to save up for studies. Can't say I miss those days, but by the same token it built character. Made me the impatient, impertient twat I am today.
