Regretably, I will not be in Cape Town, so I won't be attending, as vacation-from-work-time is limited, and I have used all mine up.
In tribute to Johann, I'd like to remark that he was thoughtful, kind and very sweet-natured when I knew him. I am sorry this is a memorial party for him, and not a birthday party hosted by him.

As an aside, for utterly selfish reasons of my own, would cacey, cellardoor, LadyRaven, valkyrie, fluorescein, and muis (though i am not sure if you're in cape town) please make a point of speaking to AMB at some time during this evening, if you are in attendance?
